What is Wellness?

We constantly hear this word but what does it truly mean?  In the Chiropractic profession, there are many different “groups” attempting to define what wellness is.  They all have their own definition.  In the Chiropractic Lifestyle, it has been told it is based upon three main factors: Physical Health, Chemical Health, Mental/Emotional Health.  These three dimensions of the body make up the spirit/soul.   These factors are what determine one’s health and through these three dimensions, is where wellness is born.  But, what breaks down the physical, the chemical, the mental/emotional?  What are the avenues of all of these?

I started asking myself these questions in the past 3 weeks and finally decided to write a book about these factors of wellness.  My blog posts from here on out will be based upon what is wellness.  I am attempting to take on something that has not been fully defined.  I am using sources of spiritual text, quantum physics, laws of vibration/frequency/attraction, chiropractic philosophy and laws of the body to achieve this task.  I will attempt to answer all the questions in full so that the reader can read the book and truly have a map, an outline on how to achieve wellness.  I will have endless resources, research and exercises to help you along the path.

Previously, I was writing a book about the power of the mind and how we are programmed.  But, since deciding to write a book on wellness, I finally decided that, I could use what I have been writing in my mental/emotional component of the book and add the rest of my knowledge that I know and apply it to a vast media.  I have even teamed up with a guru in his profession which I will do a video blog with him in the next month or two and be talking about the integral role of what he does and how it plays an affect in the wellness spectrum.

I am so excited about this book and will be finished by the end of September and hopefully be released to the public sometime around Jan 2013.  Keep an eye out and continue to follow the blog and share with friends.  I will be adding wonderful health tips, mental tips, physical tips and so much more!  Until next time, Namaste!!!!!!!

Choices…

In life, we always have to make choices.  Everyday we make a choice.  From the moment to decide if we will hit the snooze button on our alarm to brushing our teeth, going to work and what to eat for dinner.  Choices are always surrounding us.  My new philosophy I have started that helps me become more present with a choice is asking myself these two questions, “How will I look back on this choice 5 years from now and do the choices I make today serve the highest good?” Notice that with these two questions, the first talks about you on an individual level but the second question is based upon the overall good for humanity.  It is not about the overall good for oneself as most may focus on but overall human consciousness.

You see, every choice we make, not only effects our world, but the map of the human consciousness.  Every choice we make helps raise the vibration of humanity or lowers it.  Some may have low self-worth/esteem issues and say, “There is no way my little choices that I make today can have such an exponential effect.”  I am here to tell you that, YOU DO!!!  Human beings are powerful beyond measure.  As a doctor, the most amazing thing in the entire world that always interests me all the time is a single living cell.  Inside that cell has a nucleus that contains all your genetic makeup.  It contains all life and is a living, breathing organism.  When we put all these cells together, we have YOU!  The amazing, powerful, living, breathing, unique expression of LIFE!  These little cells may seem small and the sum of their “choices” make up the health and function of your body.

So, since every choice you make is either bringing the consciousness of humanity to a higher level or to a lowered one is based upon YOUR choices!  You cannot control the choices of others.  You can only control your own.  This is the MAIN reason why I always tell people, if you want to transform the world, transform yourself.  If you want world peace, create peace within you.  If you want to heal the world, heal yourself.  If you want to create a more loving world, then BE the example of LOVE to all life.  It starts with YOU!

I have learned through life that, no matter what, I cannot heal the world.  As much as I continue to mature my gifts and help be a catalyst to every person I lay my hands on, I cannot heal the world.  But, what I have learned is, if I continue the journey to heal my heart, mind and soul, it allows me to vibrate at a higher frequency and with that, gives me the opportunity to be more of an effective catalyst for others.  The true healer is not me or any other doctor.  The true healer is YOU!

Every time you are making a choice, ask yourself, does this serve the highest good for humanity?  This will help you raise the bar for humanity so others do not have to suffer and eventually, help the world reach a vibration that supports all life and invaginates true LOVE through us all!  Talk about TRUE POWER!!!

Facing the Facts…

In life, we have a tendency to become attached to an outcome or image that we desire.  Tony Robbins states that when you are depressed with your life, it is because one or two things; Your Life Situations or Your Blueprint…  Dr. DeMartini states, “When one is depressed, one has an unrealistic expectation of life.”  Today, I will be talking about the blueprint.  Your blueprint is what you expected things to be.  It is the outcome you desire.  As the more you don’t achieve your blueprint, the more stress and frustration that occurs within.  And the more energy you put into achieving what you desire, the more pain and suffering one only experiences.  Have you done this before?  I know I have…

Today, I wanted to share a wonderful lesson that I have learned.  It has been an amazing week with friends and family showing much love and with that, it has given me the energy to obtain much insight.  So, in life, when you continue to seek for what you desire and it only creates more frustration and suffering, FIRST thing to do is, LET GO… Detach yourself from the desired outcome.  Let it go and just accept WHAT IS AS WHAT IT IS.  This is the first step and one of the hardest.  The mind will tell you, how can you let that go?  That person did this?  And the mind will go and use past events to prove itself to be right BUT one shall just let it go.  The more you do that, the less stress you will feel.  Letting go is like putting a high, HIGH temperature to chocolate; it will just melt everything away!

So as anything, the most important step is always the hardest one.  After you have let go, you have gain so much energy back.  This energy is what you were using to do whatever possible to obtain that IMAGE you wanted.  All the emotional roller coasters that come with attempting to obtain the IMAGE.  From there, you just gave yourself liberation and now, will be able to use that energy to focus on yourself, create the magnetism to attract what you truly want and not use things by force but by nature.  Universal laws do not work well with force.  Universal Laws only work when one sets their intent of what they desire and does not think about it again.  From that path, one will just focus on BEING the person they need to be in order to become the vibration to attract what they desire.  In other words, you need to BE the person you desire in order to attract what you desire.

From all this melting and extra energy you will have, it gives you the opportunity to ACCEPT THE THINGS of WHAT IS rather than WHAT ISN’T.  You will say, this is how things are with these rules and what I am asking for.  I will get more in depth in one of my next few blogs about what we desire has rules and a role we should play in order to obtain.  If we are not being the essence of what we desire, we shall never obtain the greatness of what one seeks for.

In conclusion, in life… Sometimes you have to let go and accept the reality of WHAT IS instead of being attached to an image of what YOU desire. Once you accept the reality, the stress melts off. From there, you can focus your energy on WHAT IS rather than WHAT ISN”T…

Save yourself the headaches, the worries, the depression and let go of the FEAR of never obtaining what you desire.  When you start to focus your energy on awareness, you will see that you have everything you need in this present time to obtain and create what you desire for the future…
