As I am writing this blog, I want to wish each and every one of you a wonderful, amazing, blissful, memorable holiday season. The holidays bring so much love and joy into the air. Families, for some, haven’t seen each other throughout the year. Grandchildren spending time with their grandparents (if they are blessed enjoy to have grandparents). It is a time to be thoughtful and give a gift from your heart. It truly is a time where friends and colleagues come together during holiday parties and events. Overall, it is the time of the heart. It is where humans show who we truly are.
My question to all is, why cannot we not be like this throughout the year? Why has it been a custom to only one month out of the year rather than all year round? How many people feel fulfilled after seeing the smile on someone’s face when they open up a gift you gave them? How many people feel warm and fuzzy inside when you surprise someone for a visit and they are so grateful you stopped over? What would our world look like if we continued to do one act of kindness/thoughtfulness each day? How more fulfilled would our heart be? What would that do for ourselves and humanity overall?
As we enter into the new year, think of the person you were entering into 2011 and who you are today. Are you the same person you desired to be walking into 2011 as it comes to an end? If not, what didn’t YOU be or do that prevented that? How can you prevent from not achieving who you desire to be in 2012? I believe every new year, is like a new day. Every new day is a new opportunity to learn something new, expand the soul, increase the wisdom of one’s mind and enjoy this experience we call, “LIFE.” So, for the new year, what are THREE top goals that you want to achieve, BE and see yourself as? Just make three top ones. From there, you break it down to what you have to do in 6 months, 3 months, and eventually get to each day. One act of kindness or making someone happy each day is one of my goals to have a fulfilling, loving heart. Another goal is giving 12-14 hugs per day. The third is stating things that are only in a positive manner and uplifting with each and every person I am with, especially the people closest to me. Through these things, I believe I can be the person I desire to become. A person of humble light, appreciation/grateful in all things and surrendering to all resistance.
Who do you desire to be in 2012? If you have never started writing your own life of what you desire, there is never a perfect time. The only perfect time is when you START! Let your light shine. If you realized how beautiful you really are, it would astound you. Start appreciating the light that you are and know that you are perfect for who you are. Before entering into this world, you chose all the events, things, family, appearance and so forth that you needed to achieve your goal. Do not let the mind create the separation that you do not have all or that you are “broken.” The truth is, you are perfect and when the spirit is made from the image of light, light is only of perfection. Let your light shine in 2012 and BE that person you have always desired to become. Don’t let circumstances or anything hold you back. The only thing that holds one back is our own mind. Be free, let go, surrender and BELIEVE in yourself.
I have faith that we can all become of this. I have faith that we will unlock the key to our greatness. I have faith that all of humanity will come together and bring heaven on earth. I have faith that we will all truly unveil our gifts and let our divine spirit shine upon the world. I have faith that this will happen just as when you drop something, gravity pulls it towards the earth. It will happen. It will happen to you as long as you have FAITH. The more you focus on something, the more energy it gives to that something which in result, gives it life and one day you will see it in your reality. Have faith….
Happy Holidays to you and your loved ones and look forward to reconnecting with you in the NEW YEAR!
